There once was a caveman and the caveman’s name was Ogg and he had always been a skilled hunter. He spent most of his days out in the wild, stalking his prey and providing for his tribe. One day, while he was out hunting for food, he came across something he had never seen before.

It was a huge egg, nestled among the rocks and foliage. Ogg had never seen anything like it, but he was hungry so he decided to take it home and cook up breakfast. He quickly ran home and got his wooden cart, for the egg was so large that he couldn’t carry it. He pushed and shoved until the egg was on the cart and he went back to his cave.

As he was preparing the fire to cook the egg, he began to hear loud crackling noises coming from inside it. Suddenly, the egg burst open and out climbed a huge, baby dinosaur.

The baby dino was crying and Ogg didn’t know what to do. He had never seen anything like it before and he was a little scared. Though the creature obviously was a baby, it was already huge, strong and had sharp teeth and claws. But as he watched the baby dino, he realized that it was hungry. So he fed it some milk and the baby dino stopped crying.

Ogg knew that the baby dino needed to find its parents, but he had no idea where they were. He decided to take the baby dino into the wild and look for them. But no matter where he looked, he couldn’t find them.

So Ogg decided to take care of the baby dino himself. He named it Diego. Ogg didn’t know anything about dinosaurs, but he tried his best to raise the poor creature. He showed him how to hunt for fish and meat. Showed him which plants and berries were good for eating. He showed him the dangerous spots of their surroundings and the fun spots. As Diego was growing and learning, the two of them became the best of friends. They roamed the wild together, hunting and exploring, they slept in the cave by the fire and they never gave up looking for Diego’s parents.

As Diego grew older, he became a huge and powerful dino. But he never forgot the caveman who had taken care of him and they remained the best of friends until the end of their days.
